Overview

The ZCU controller is a highly integrated controller that integrates multiple functions or modules such as multi-core MCU, OTA, Ethernet gateway, thermal management control, vehicle light control, seat control, door module, etc. The ZCU controller reduces vehicle production costs and weight burdens, improves information transmission capabilities and computing power through the following functional features:

Highly integrated input/output and distribution

The system greatly reduces the number of electronic control units (ECU’s) and wiring harnesses, achieving higher integration by optimizing the input/output and power distribution systems of the entire vehicle. This design not only reduces complexity and cost, but also enhances the reliability and efficiency of the entire vehicle system.

The controller reserves computing power to support OEM deployment functionality

Sufficient computing power has been reserved for original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s) to deploy their atomic service functions on the main control unit (ZCU). This provides great flexibility, allowing manufacturers to customize and expand vehicle functions according to specific needs.

Software architecture based on Classic AUTOSAR

H&T has adopted a complete Classic AUTOSAR software architecture to achieve platformization of basic software, complex drivers, and electromechanical algorithm software. This architecture not only supports diverse software applications, but also ensures the reliability and scalability of the software.

Software and hardware decoupling and OTA functionality

Through software and hardware decoupling, the system achieves online software updates (OTA), ensuring that the vehicle system can receive the latest software updates and functional enhancements at any time. This design improves the long-term adaptability and user experience of the vehicle system.
